This story
Charlene was a single mother living with severe depression and social phobia who struggled to find employment that fit around her health and parenting needs. After being referred from the job centre in Poole, she worked with a business mentor to research and test a mobile nail technician service. In July 2019, she officially registered as self-employed, growing her independence, confidence and financial resilience.
