Carolyn survived anorexia with her wife Sadie's help. Now, after losing Sadie to the illness, she is taking on a marathon.
This story
Carolyn recovered from anorexia in 2012 with the support of her wife Sadie. Sadie lived with anorexia from the age of 14 and died in February 2026 at the age of 45. Carolyn is now preparing to run a marathon in April 2027 to raise money for an eating disorder charity.
