Working as a paediatric surgeon and researcher, Carolin sees how much difference good research makes for children with congenital conditions. She has signed up to run her first marathon to fund research into Ataxia-Telangiectasia. With her longest training run so far considerably shorter than 26.2 miles, she is preparing for the distance ahead.
