Carol was left completely isolated after her husband died and lockdown hit. Daily beach walks and a dog helped her rebuild.
This story
Carol lost her husband suddenly in May 2019, moved to Norfolk, and soon entered lockdown knowing almost nobody. Coping with grief, anxiety and severe loneliness, she struggled to see a future. She began turning things around by walking outside, getting a dog, journaling, and joining a bereavement support group.
