Campaign idea: Bruce tows his own ventilator

Bruce survived open-chest surgery at nine days old, and now tows his own ventilator while playing at home.

This story

Days after he was born, Bruce was diagnosed with a rare tumour in his chest and had emergency open-chest surgery. The procedure damaged his diaphragm and vocal cords, leaving him reliant on a tracheostomy and entirely dependent on a ventilator. Now a cheerful toddler, he explores at home while towing his ventilator, supported by his parents and hospice respite carers.

What your brand could do

Provide toys and play equipment for Bruce's playtime sessions at home. Supply meals and refreshments for his parents and respite carers.
