Campaign idea: Bronwen is facing a rare illness
Bronwen raised rescue animals and fought life's battles as a team with her daughter Fiona.
This story
Bronwen began experiencing communication problems and personality changes in her late 40s. After years of being told it was depression, anxiety, or aging, Fiona pushed for tests that revealed a rare genetic brain disease called adult-onset leukoencephalopathy with axonal spheroids and pigmented glia. Bronwen has since been accepted onto a clinical trial and continues to face her illness with incredible strength alongside Fiona.
