After sleeping rough in a winter tent and battling addiction, Billy found stability and is training for a charity boxing match.
This story
Billy spent several years homeless, struggling with addiction, poor mental health and losing contact with his young son. Deciding to turn his life around, he got clean and moved into supported accommodation in early 2026. He now works in the community shop and on delivery vans while preparing to study electrical installation at college.
