This story
Beyedu fled Eritrea with her young child and arrived in the UK, while her husband remained behind. Faced with shifting immigration rules and new financial thresholds, she sought urgent help on the morning the family reunion route was set to close. Her application was submitted three hours before the deadline and approved, allowing her husband to join them in the UK.
