After nearly 40 years of using drink and drugs, Ben threw himself into recovery and found hope through art and peer support.
This story
Ben used drink and drugs on and off for nearly 40 years, repeatedly trying abstinence without enough support and returning to substances. Joining Double Impact gave him a safe environment to open up through one-to-one support, groups, and an art project. He has since started a mentoring course and hopes to volunteer or work in a recovery role.
