Ava is an artist, advocate, and one of only six guide dog-led wheelchair users in the UK.
This story
Ava is deafblind, communicates with sign language, and got her first powered wheelchair at age five. Supported by her guide dog Ollie and interpreters, she is currently studying art at college. She also serves on the Whizz Kidz Youth Board, using her voice to push for equity and challenge daily assumptions.
