Campaign idea: Amanda and Pete fight for change
Amanda and Pete lost their daughter Hannah to a lethal substance. Now they are campaigning for stricter poisons regulation and ambulance antidotes.
This story
Hannah was 22 and living in supported accommodation when she died after buying a lethal substance from an overseas seller. Paramedics were unaware of what she had ingested and could not resuscitate her. Her parents, Amanda and Pete, are now campaigning for stricter regulation of the chemical, better border enforcement, and for ambulances to carry its antidote.
