In 2025, Alden was struggling mentally and needed something to focus on, so his dad suggested volunteering on Saturdays. After starting college he began coming in more often, moving from the till to handling furniture in the warehouse and passing an electrical testing course. He is building up practical experience while working towards his goal of becoming a mechanic.
