This story
Alan devoted years to caring full-time for his wife Sheila through serious illness until her death, which took a profound physical and emotional toll on his own health. Following repeated hospital visits, his son helped him move to Nightingale House to recover his strength. He later returned as a permanent resident, where he now attends discussion groups, outings and pottery sessions.
