Campaign idea: Aimee is preparing for college
Autism and severe anxiety left Aimee out of school and isolated. Now she is preparing for college and mentoring other young people.
This story
Aimee struggled with anxiety and autism, which led to school avoidance, isolation and conflict at home. After support from Key to rebuild communication with her mother, put a safety plan in place at school and manage stress, she attended her leavers' prom. She has since applied to study health and beauty at college and agreed to act as an ambassador for other young people.
