This story
Zara moved back to London at age 11 without a school place, becoming her unwell mother's translator and carer amid housing and legal challenges. Although she was later told that education might not be for her, support from the Cardinal Hume Centre helped her build a portfolio and apply to art college. She went on to study fine art and graduated with first-class honours, and is now planning further study and a career in art.
