This story
Yosef came to the UK from Ethiopia to seek safety, but felt lonely, frightened and anxious while adjusting to a new culture. He was paired with a volunteer mentor named Helen, who helped him travel around London, speak to strangers and manage his anxiety. Yosef went on to pass his GCSEs and earn a business qualification, and he is now studying accounting and finance at university.
