After a back injury on Dartmoor ended his eight years in the Royal Navy, Will experienced homelessness, depression and worsening health conditions that left him needing a wheelchair. Unable to leave his house, he reached out for support and received a home ramp, an electric wheelchair and counselling. He also joined multi-sports weekends, trying wheelchair rugby and powerlifting, which helped him rebuild his confidence and his relationship with his children.
