Make content about: Wilder turned scrub into a bee garden
Wilder Bramley started by turning a neglected scrubland into a bee garden, sparking a village-wide movement for nature.
This story
Residents formed the grassroots group in 2022 after meeting at a nearby planting event and deciding to act for nature at home. Their first project turned a neglected patch of scrubby ground into an award-winning community bee garden with more than 300 donated plants. The group has since expanded to restore churchyard meadows, plant disease-resistant elms, monitor chalk stream water, and run community walks and moth nights.
