Make content about: Ulleskelf created wildflower meadows
Ulleskelf Wildlife Group took on a May heatwave to transform three roadside verges into wildflower meadows.
This story
After forming the Ulleskelf Wildlife Group, volunteers launched their first project to plant roadside verges with wildflower plugs to boost biodiversity. Working across three sites, they managed traffic safety and coped with a May heatwave through morning shifts and daily watering rotas. Their roadside work caught the eye of passers-by and brought new members into the team.
