Make content about: Tyler is heading outdoors again
Tyler's seizures put him at risk every time he left home until a specialist buggy allowed his family to go out safely.
This story
Seven-year-old Tyler has a severe form of drug-resistant epilepsy that causes multiple daily seizures, which previously led to significant brain damage and skill regression. Because his old buggy faced outwards, his mother Rebecca could easily miss his head dropping forward and cutting off his airway. A specialist reclining buggy now lets Rebecca monitor him face-to-face and safely take him outdoors.
