Make content about: Toby rebuilt his life through art

After leaving the Army, Toby struggled with trauma and alcohol before rebuilding his life through art and volunteering.

This story

Toby left the Royal Engineers at 21 with lasting mental trauma and relied on alcohol to cope, eventually separating from his family. After being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, he received specialist treatment and took up art therapy. With support from an employment advisor, he began volunteering in his community, running local art sessions, helping at a food bank, and leading a walking group.
