Make content about: Tamika secured a home of her own

Tamika went from sleeping in doorways and using heroin to securing a home and celebrating eight months of stability.

This story

After spending time in jail at twenty-seven, Tamika lost her home, began sleeping rough, and started using heroin. Unable to see her children, she eventually reached out for help and secured housing through St Mungo's and Change Grow Live. Supported by her worker, Tristan, and substitute medication, she has not touched heroin for eight months and is now looking forward to the future with her family and dog, Bubbles.

Where you could take it

Walk Bubbles with Tamika and talk through how finding stable housing helped her rebuild her life.
