Make content about: Sue ran marathons for a cure

A vascular dementia diagnosis at 56 felt like a punch in the stomach. Sue turned to running and fundraising for research.

This story

Sue was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2014 at age 56. She decided to challenge perceptions of what people with dementia can do, completing the London Marathon, abseiling the Orbit Tower and raising over £40,000. Her partner of more than 30 years, Sheila, died suddenly in August. Sue continues to share her experiences as a charity ambassador to help find a cure.
