Make content about: Anxiety and sensory overwhelm make public…

Anxiety and sensory overwhelm make public spaces feel unsafe. A weekly session gives them nature, horse care and quiet space.

This story

The Friday Club brings disadvantaged adults, young people and their carers together for a weekly session at a care farm. Participants take part in horse care, gardening and wildlife observation, or simply spend time outdoors without pressure to be productive. While participants connect and build confidence, family carers get informal peer support and space to clear their heads. The programme has run weekly sessions since 2022.

Where you could take it

Join a Friday Club session on the farm to take part in horse care, gardening and quiet time in nature alongside participants.
