Make content about: A mother found emergency relief

An unexpected car repair forced a mother to wash her family in washing-up liquid before emergency toiletries brought relief.

This story

After an expensive car repair pushed her family into debt, a mother prioritised feeding her children over her own health and fell into sickness and depression. Without money for basic hygiene items, the family washed themselves and their clothes in washing-up liquid and she became housebound during her period. A referral from her doctor to a foodbank provided essential toiletries, groceries and washing powder.
