Make content about: Friends drove him to cancer treatment

After losing his wife, a man facing daily hospital trips for prostate cancer found companionship and a ride through a local club.

This story

After his wife died, a man in South Holland joined the Long Sutton branch of Men’s Shed to share coffee and make friends. When he was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, fellow members accompanied him on some of his 37 daily 100-mile trips for radiotherapy in Norwich. He finished his radiotherapy treatment and rang the bell at the clinic to mark the end of his journeys.
