Make content about: A teenager is coaching others to fish

A teenager who struggled with severe anxiety and school attendance found confidence through fishing, and now coaches other young people.

This story

Diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder, a teenager struggled with busy spaces and getting to school in the morning. After joining a seven-week fishing course at a local park, his confidence grew and he began fishing independently over the summer holidays. He has now taken on a coaching role, supporting younger and less experienced children to fish.
