This story
After learning people were living in desperate conditions just miles from her house, she joined a local Care4Calais volunteering group. She visited a nearby hotel housing around 60 refugees to list essential items, then collected clothes from friends and family. Her son launched an online fundraiser, relatives helped hand out donations, and her living room now fills with bags of clothes each week.
