In November 2024, Steven's 17-year-old nephew George took his own life. Martin House Children's Hospice provided a chapel of rest and helped his family make keepsakes so they could say goodbye properly. Steven is now preparing to cycle the 134-mile John Muir Way coast to coast across Scotland on his own to support the hospice.
