This story
In December 2023, Stephen collapsed from a cardiac arrest on his way home from running errands. Bystanders and an air ambulance crew worked for more than 30 minutes to restart his heart before he was fitted with an internal defibrillator. After completing cardiac rehabilitation and overcoming severe anxiety, he completed a 50-mile walking challenge and embraced a new routine.
