Make content about: Sophia sang opera around the world

Sophia built an international career as an opera singer before an autism diagnosis at 45 finally explained her struggles.

This story

Sophia found school difficult, falling behind with reading and writing until discovering at age eight that she could sing opera. She went on to study music and perform around the world, adapting on her own without realising she was autistic. After her partner encouraged her to see a specialist, she was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome at 45 and now speaks at conferences to challenge misconceptions.

Where you could take it

Sit down with Sophia at the piano to talk about vocal technique and how receiving an autism diagnosis in her forties changed how she sees her career.
