Make content about: Skye is heading to drama school

Skye barely left home for nearly a year after losing her mobility. Now a custom wheelchair has her heading to university for musical theatre.

This story

Skye grew up with hypermobility spectrum disorder and later developed a chronic illness causing extreme exhaustion. Because she had some mobility, the NHS could not provide the equipment she needed, leaving her using an unsafe second-hand wheelchair that tipped and caused falls. After receiving a lightweight chair fitted to her needs, she can now self-propel safely and prepare for drama school.
