Make content about: Shirley picked up her brush again
After two serious falls stopped Shirley from painting, moving into residential care helped her pick up a brush again.
This story
Shirley won a scholarship to art school in London during the war and spent her life designing dresses and painting portraits. After two serious falls made holding a paintbrush difficult, she lost her physical confidence and stopped painting. Moving into a care home gave her the support to join art sessions, teach drawing to a student and begin painting again.
