Make content about: Sherbert found a fresh start
Sherbert survived severe neglect as a young pony before finding a loving new home and a fresh start in South Wales.
This story
Sherbert was one of 13 equines rescued from severe neglect at a centre in Cornwall in 2022. Sanctuary staff spent over a year nursing her back to health with medical treatment, food supplements and behavioural training. Now fully recovered, she lives in South Wales with her carer Christina and has become inseparable from an older companion pony.
