Shaun moved to the hospice from hospital after being diagnosed with gland cell cancer, arriving feeling very low. The hospice team supported his family and gave them the space to celebrate his grandson Tobias's seventh birthday. His family now visits every day as they look forward to his daughter Sophie's wedding and another grandchild on the way.
