Daniel died in July 2024 after struggling with his mental health. After years without taking on physical challenges, Scott decided to raise funds for young people's mental health support in Daniel's memory. He set out to run the London Marathon, followed two weeks later by a 24-hour relay around Arthur's Seat with his two brothers and a close friend.
