Make content about: Sarah runs a weekly food pantry

Families facing hardship often sacrifice basic soap and toiletries; this session gives them a week of food and essential hygiene products.

This story

Rising living costs force local families to go without essentials like soap, toothpaste and cleaning supplies. A weekly pantry session gives around 130 people a week's supply of food and essential personal care items to help them maintain dignity. To date, the pantry has fed over 41,000 people and saved more than 298 tonnes of food from landfill.

Where you could take it

Join Sarah and the volunteer team at the pantry to unpack toiletries and help prepare weekly food parcels.
