Sam moved to the Lake District 25 years ago for wild outdoor adventures, regularly running 10 to 15 miles on rocky trails. While she has never run further than a half marathon on tarmac, she accepted a charity place in the 2027 London Marathon. She is taking on the extra road training to raise funds for outdoor breaks for people with disabilities.
