Diagnosed with autism and living with cerebral palsy, Sam found purpose travelling the country to wash dishes.

This story

Sam has had cerebral palsy from birth and signed up to volunteer after being diagnosed with autism. He has clocked up hundreds of miles travelling by train to wash pots at community meals across England and Wales. The experience helped him understand how his autism works and led him to another volunteer role at a charity shop in his hometown.

Where you could take it
