Make content about: Sally volunteers for cancer patients

After surviving colon cancer and septic shock, Sally began volunteering at the hospital that saved her life.

This story

Sally was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2019, undergoing multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and treatment for septic shock over four years. After robotic keyhole surgery for cancer in her lung in 2024, she made a swift recovery. Living with an ileostomy and a stented kidney, she now spends her time volunteering by giving talks and supporting patients in the oncology waiting room.
