Make content about: Sabina found confidence as a mum

Sabina doubted she was enough to support her son Dion, but a seaside holiday helped them both find their confidence.

This story

Raising her three-year-old son Dion on her own after leaving a controlling partner, Sabina worried about how to support his additional needs. Dion had suspected autism, feared water, avoided crowds and struggled to express what he needed. During a five-day holiday to Bognor Regis, he went into the swimming pool, took off his shoes to play and made friends. Back home, Dion is talking more during speech therapy and Sabina feels confident in her parenting.
