Make content about: Rory got the support he needed

Rory lived alone and assumed he was not eligible for support, until an adviser helped him claim the allowance he needed.

This story

Rory, an 83-year-old widower in Blaenau Gwent, is recovering from prostate cancer while managing diabetes and chronic back pain. He initially hesitated to apply for Attendance Allowance because he did not think the guidance notes applied to him. An adviser encouraged him to submit a claim, and he was awarded the higher rate, increasing his weekly income by over £100.
