Make content about: Rob is aiming for the London Marathon

Told by a specialist never to run again, Rob refused to quit and is aiming for the 2027 London Marathon.

This story

Rob took up running in 2009 and went on to complete numerous races, including a marathon. In 2024, his father-in-law Patrick died of cardiac arrest, alongside his uncle and a grandparent. After injuries forced him to pull out of two London Marathons, a scan revealed a slipped disc and a specialist advised him to give up running forever, but he is now working to take on the race in 2027.

Where you could take it

Join Rob on an adapted training run as he prepares to take on the London Marathon in memory of Patrick.
