Rick has worked in drug and alcohol treatment for more than 15 years, stepping in multiple times to reverse overdoses with naloxone. The first time he administered the medicine in 2015, he revived an unresponsive man who had no pulse. Alongside his colleagues, he trains police officers, pharmacists and doctor's surgery staff on how to use the medicine.
