In 2015, Richard and his friends set up a poker tournament called the Kav Cup to support their friend Kav following a cancer diagnosis. Over the years, the tournament has raised more than £84,000 for charities including the hospice that provided Kav with palliative care. Richard is now preparing for the tenth and final Kav Cup to push the total raised past £100,000.
