Make content about: Richard protected grazing birds

When a caravan park threatened grazing birds, Richard gathered the evidence needed to protect them.

This story

In 2017, an application was made to turn one shore of Hurworth Burn Reservoir into a caravan leisure park. Richard objected on behalf of Durham Bird Club, presenting evidence that human disturbance would displace wigeons and wintering curlews. The application was refused, and Richard is now encouraging local planning authorities to monitor the impact of nearby energy developments.
