Richard used to feel left out and found it difficult to speak up because of his speech impediment. Over eighteen years working as a lived experience advisor, he gained confidence to speak out, co-chair an inclusion network and call out confusing jargon. He also records podcasts interviewing people with a learning disability and makes videos celebrating Black history.
