Make content about: Rahim is living safely at home

Rahim dreaded returning home to his partner's violent attacks. Now he lives safely in his flat and has his life back.

This story

Rahim lived with his partner, whose drug use led to escalating abuse and violent attacks, including threatening Rahim with a knife. He contacted Galop, where an advocate helped him secure legal protection, an order barring his partner from the flat, and free home security upgrades. After receiving emotional support and counselling, Rahim ended the relationship and now lives safely in his home.

Where you could take it

Sit down with Rahim to talk about rebuilding his independence and what it took to feel safe at home again.
