Make content about: Meet Rachael

Fine Art graduate Rachael missed working with her hands, so she trained as a stonemason restoring historic waterways.

This story

Missing hands-on creative work, Fine Art graduate Rachael joined an apprenticeship in heritage craft skills. She trained in traditional stonemasonry and lime mortar, working on bridges, weirs and locks near her family home in Wales. After restoring a collapsing wall on the Brynich Aqueduct and winning a Heritage Angel award, she moved into managing waterway projects.

Where you could take it
