Make content about: Phil survived a cardiac arrest
Phil collapsed without a pulse during a round of golf, but quick CPR from a friend kept him alive.
This story
While playing a round of golf, Phil collapsed unconscious in long grass and stopped breathing. His playing partner immediately began chest compressions while the club manager fetched a village defibrillator to deliver two shocks. An air ambulance flew Phil to hospital, where he spent two days in an induced coma, had a stent fitted and made a recovery.
